NAHUEL HUAPI, PATAGONIA
RELAIS & CHÂTEAUX MEMBER
In northern Patagonia, where the Andes descend into deep blue water and ancient forests meet the silence of the mountains, Las Balsas has stood for more than four decades — evolving from a family home into an intimate retreat of 20 rooms and villas for those who seek something increasingly rare: intimacy, authenticity, and time.
A place where the lake is not a view, but a presence.
WAYS TO STAY
At Las Balsas, accommodation is not about choosing a room, but about how you want to inhabit the place.
THE SETTING
A Private Natural Reserve
Set on 15 hectares of private natural reserve along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi, Las Balsas is immersed in protected forest and untouched shoreline.
Nature is not curated. It is preserved. Native woodland, open water, and mountain air define the atmosphere, offering a rare sense of seclusion within Patagonia’s vast landscape.
